LET'S GO TO SLEEP BIRTHDAY GIRL

I decided to keep this card relatively simple.  I have used a Paper Shelter digi stamp called Let's Go To Sleep, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the DCWV Nana's Kids stack.  The two message tags are Hunkydory toppers.  The pile of gifts is a Little B sticker, and the balloon shaker is a Handmade Art sticker.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE 392: ADD A CHARM

Challenge 392: Add A Charm

This is the first time I will be designing for our Passion For ProMarkers challenges, and I am SUPER excited to be part of the team!

The theme for the week is ADD A CHARM, chosen by our talented Kitty, and the prize is being sponsored by ALL DRESSED UP STAMPS.

I have made an 'Envelope Card'.  I cut the envelope by hand, after lots of measuring and planning on scrap paper.  My papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Romance pack.  I have used an assortment of flowers, including Prima and Tim Holtz.  The pearl swirl is Bella! Bling, and the pale blue cameo is Nellie Snellen.  The resin dress form is from the Prima Shabby Chic Treasures collection.  I also added a few odd pearls, and a nice big brad to the centre of the envelope.

I have used two charms for this week's theme: a ballet dancer and ballet shoes.

My image is an All Dressed Up Stamps digi, called The Gorgeous Bride, and she has been coloured with ProMarkers.  I did her tiny blue flowers with gel pens, and the white 'spray' with Liquid Pearls.  I inked around her with Distress Ink and a sponge, and the whole image has been cut out using a Spellbinders die.  I have recut the die in paper from the same paper pack, to form a frame on the back of the stamped card, where I can write my message.

Well now its over to you!  I can't wait to see what wonderful creations you come up with this week!

POLKADOODLES CHRISTMAS

I have used a Polkadoodles digi from the Winnie Winterland collection, called Mr & Mrs Claus, and coloured it with ProMarkers.  My papers are from the DCWV Merry Little Christmas stack, and I have distressed all the edges.  I have added a die cut tag from a fantastic Xcut tag die set.  The tree and mittens are Jolee's.  There's also a strip of Ultimate Crafts lace and the red twirly strip was in my stash.

SENTIMENTAL ROWENA

Let me begin by saying, I LOVE steampunk!  I love the obvious 'cold' metal effect, but also the clothing style!  If only.....

I have included lots of pics in this post, because I tried out my new Prima Art Alchemy Metallique Wax, and I thought I'd take a few 'progress pics' to show the transformation.  I also wanted to add some close-ups of the details on the card.

I began with Rowena, a Paper Shelter digi, and coloured her with ProMarkers.  I then dug out everything that could possibly be used with her:

I chose 2 colours of foiled cardstock by DCWV, which I embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  I also used Tim Holtx gears and compass; Bo Bunny brads; KaiserCraft wooden embellishments; an Art C metal corner (bottom right); a Ribtex metal key; and Prima metallic beads.

Then came the messy part!

And then some finishing touches:

I LOVE how the resin turned out!

PRECIOUS WEDDING

This image is from Silhouette Design Studio.  It is a 'print and cut' image called Precious Moments Dancing Bride and Groom.  I love the Precious Moments characters, but I don't like how pale the colours print in this set.  I apologise for the quality of this photograph.  My camera seemed to battle with the different depths of the card, but the close-up pics are clearer.

Anyway...

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Botanic Orchid Collection.  I have cut the card shape and all the smaller frames from a set of Spellbinders Grand Nestibilities.  The top right pearl swirl is Bella! Bling; the pearl string around the flowers, and the heart lace is Simplicity.  The flowers are an assortment, including KaiserCraft and Prima.  The horse and carriage is a Poppy Crafts die cut.  The dangly hearts are buttons from my stash.

BAKED WITH LOVE

This card is a double-fold card, with a centre opening.  I have used 3 digi stamps from the Polkadoodles Baked With Love collection, and coloured them with ProMarkers.  I've added glitter to the purple ribbon and hearts, and Glossy Accents to the 'icing' on the gingerbread people.  The ribbon bow and bells are Docrafts.  'JOY' is a Jolee's sticker, and the candy cane and sweets are Martha Stewart stickers.  My paper is from the Bo Bunny Tis The Season pack.

BECCY'S NOT BEARY HAPPY!

I have used a Beccy's Place freebie, called Not Beary Happy, and coloured him with ProMarkers.  He has the cutest little sad face and weepy eyes, and I knew the moment I saw him, that he REALLY needed a cuddle!

My papers are all from the Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pack.  The two top tags were cut from Poppy Crafts dies.  The heart charm is by Solid Oak, Inc.  I have added two paper doilies, some pearls and an assortment of flowers, including Green Tara and Petaloo.

SPRING MAGNOLIA

This little cutie is called Lacy Tilda, and I have coloured it with ProMarkers.  The frame around her is a Spellbinders die.  I have also used a Rambling Lace die from Ultimate Crafts (left), and a frames tree die from Poppy Crafts (right).  My pink background paper is from the Heartfelt Creations Wildwood Cottage collection.  I have added strips of cheesecloth and lace.  The toadstools are Prima wood embellishments, and I have primed them with white Gesso paint, and then added a tiny bit of Prima Art Alchemy Metallique wax.  I didn't fully cover them, because I didn't want them to come out too dark.  The flowers are an assortment, including Petal and Green Tara, and the butterfly is Solid Oak, Inc.
